Tranquebar
Designed by Christian Joachim at Aluminia between 1912-1918 and later Nils Thorsson also designed several pieces. Originally produced in blue (#11) and between 1959-1969 in a new model version (#68). From 1976-1985 it was also sold in red (#13), green (#12) and brown (#45) variants. Remained in production until 1995 and also spelled "Trankebar" in Danish. It is named after the former colony in East India (today Tharangambadi and located about 100 km south of Pondicherry).Decoration number #11
